This is our radio club's website. We would be grateful if you like this site. We'll be trying to keep it interesting for everyone visiting it.


CITY of KRANJ is somehow embedded in the center Gorenjska. From here it is an excellent starting point for tourism, recreation, bussines contacts, and other beautiful activities.

Since we are just radio amateurs, we require much less space, but we reach much longer than anyone could imagine. With our competitive location on Mt. Blegoš in UHF, VHF and other radio bands, we also reach over 1,000 km distance, and conduct radio communications without any problem. Well, this is a bit shorter than if you went with someone on coffee break, but it is nice and frendly. Friend with whom we contacted, is also entered in the radio logbook. To confirm the radio contact we receive a nice QSL card, which reminds us that the worls's people - ham radio operators who want to talk to anyone, regardless of where and what they are.

Of course it is quite something else at home. The short-wave radio stations are communicating whit counterparts in almost all corners of the world. In doing so, we do not need to travel far over the world, but we are at home in a comfortable armchair or used and loose chair. This is not that important.
